- Career information: your resume, work history, education, skills, target roles, locations, salary expectations and work authorization status.
- Job site accounts: login details for job sites, only if you choose to share them so we can apply for you.
- Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp, by email or through other channels, including details you enter in our quote form, which opens WhatsApp with them filled in.
- Website data: pages viewed and device and browser information, collected through cookies and similar tools if we turn on advertising or analytics tags such as the Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag.
2. Our free ATS resume checker
The checker runs entirely in your browser. The resume and job description you add are processed on your device and aren't sent to us or stored by us. We only receive your resume if you choose to send it to us.
3. Job search
Our job search shows listings collected from public job boards. If you add your resume to see match scores, it's read in your browser and isn't sent to us. The skills we find in it are kept in your browser so your scores are there next time, until you choose Remove. Jobs you save are also kept only in your browser.
4. How we use your information
- To review your resume and provide our service: matching jobs, tailoring resumes, submitting applications and tracking them.
- To talk with you about your service, quotes and payments.
- To improve our service and website.
- To send marketing messages, if you've agreed to receive them.

5. Who we share it with
- Employers and job sites, when we submit applications for you. That's the point of the service.
- Service providers that help us run the business, such as cloud storage and spreadsheets, messaging, payment processing, and the AI tools we use to match jobs and draft tailored resumes. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Advertising partners such as Meta and LinkedIn, through website tags, if we turn them on.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and safety.
We don't sell your personal information.
6. How we use AI tools
We use AI tools, including large language models, to score how well jobs match your profile and to draft tailored versions of your resume. A team member reviews this work. We send your resume and job descriptions to these tools only for that purpose.
7. Where your information is handled
Our team and service providers may store and process your information in countries outside the United States. We protect it with the same care wherever it's handled.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while you use our service and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
9. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop marketing messages, by emailing support@geniusapplyusa.com. Depending on where you live, for example California, you may have more rights under local law, and we'll honor them as required. Using your rights won't change how we treat you.
10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and only team members who need it to provide your service can access it. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure.

Our service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Cookies and tracking
